Got this for our annual Glastonbury weekend and it was brilliant. The retro hurricane style got compliments from everyone at the campsite, and the warm LED light set a lovely mood in our tent at night. Charged it fully before leaving and it lasted the whole 4 days using the solar panel during the day. Heavy enough to not blow over in the wind. Perfect festival companion.

Bought this for car camping and the retro look is genuinely cool. The light output is decent for ambient lighting but not bright enough to actually cook by at night. The 5800mAh battery claims are optimistic — I got maybe 5-6 hours on high, not the advertised duration. Solar charging is slow; it really needs USB top-ups. Nice design but overhyped specs.
Living in Joburg means dealing with constant loadshedding. This lantern has been a lifesaver. The 5800mAh battery gives us about 9 hours of bright light, and I charge it on the windowsill during the day. The vintage hurricane design is gorgeous — looks like an antique on our bookshelf. Way better than the torch we've been using for years. Worth every cent.
Took this retro hurricane lantern on a 4-day backpacking trip in the Rockies. The 5800mAh battery lasted three nights on medium brightness before needing a top-up via the solar panel. Love the warm, flickering LED glow — much nicer than my headlamp for hanging in the tent. Build feels solid, the metal handle is comfortable. Already ordered a second one for our emergency kit at home.
